Swinging jazz trio Saxophone, double bass & drums

As an instrumental jazz band we play in two line-ups: as a jazz trio and as a jazz duo. Our classic jazz trio consists of saxophone, double bass and drums. We play purely acoustically, with no amplification at all – and that is exactly the appeal: the sound is direct, unadulterated and gets really close to your guests.

Saxophone and double bass provide warmth, depth and fullness, while the drums add groove and subtle dynamics. If it should sound especially gentle, or simply a little different, our saxophonist switches spontaneously to the clarinet. And because we improvise a lot, we adapt quite naturally to the room, the acoustics and the mood. No two performances sound alike.

Our range runs from delicate restraint to irresistible intensity: as stylish background music at receptions, galas and corporate events, as relaxed accompaniment to a garden party or as a special musical highlight at exclusive events.

Intimate jazz duo Stylish & flexible

For smaller celebrations and intimate moments there is our jazz duo with saxophone and double bass. This compact line-up is particularly mobile: we play in the foyer, outside in the garden or right among the guests, and simply change location when needed – from the champagne reception over to dinner, for instance.

Whether for a wedding ceremony, a short performance or a whole evening with a small group: the duo sounds elegant and understated, yet has enough presence to fill the room. Two instruments, up close, and exactly the right amount of jazz.

Jazz duo or jazz trio? Which line-up suits your occasion

The jazz duo is the right choice for wedding ceremonies, small receptions and rooms with little space. With the drums, the jazz trio brings more groove and also carries larger parties, garden celebrations and corporate events.
