Jazz Band Munich

Live jazz on the Isar Elegant & full of swing

As a jazz band in Munich, we bring stylish live music to the Bavarian capital: elegant and understated at the reception, upbeat at dinner and irresistible when the dancing starts later in the evening. Whether it is a wedding by the lake, a corporate event in the city centre or a reception in the countryside: we play acoustic jazz and swing with a real feel for the moment and turn your event into something special.

Our Munich story We met at “Chicago” at the Deutsches Theater

Of all things, it was a musical that brought us together: Michèle and Viktor met in Munich when they played “Chicago” together at the Deutsches Theater. Between rehearsals, performances and many long evenings, the two quickly realised that they love the same music – the songs of the 1920s to 1950s, swing and the Great American Songbook.

After the shows, the night was far from over for them: instead of going home, they headed to the city’s jazz sessions, where people played, sang and improvised deep into the night. Those nights gave rise to a musical friendship that continues to this day – and that eventually brought Michèle to the Weichsel Sharks as our singer.
