Whether at the ceremony, the champagne reception or during dinner: with refined jazz and swing we create a warm, relaxed atmosphere in which your guests can arrive, raise a glass and enjoy themselves. From an intimate duo to a quartet with vocals that get under your skin, we put together the line-up that suits your day.
And we never play by the book. We improvise a lot, have a feel for mood and timing and respond to what is happening in the moment, so that your wedding sounds exactly the way it feels.
Founded in Berlin, we now play with musicians from Hamburg, Frankfurt, Freiburg, Basel, Cologne, Munich and many other places all over Germany, Austria and Switzerland. That means we can be at your celebration quickly, without a long journey.

Whether it is a civil ceremony at Schöneberg Town Hall, a relaxed wedding party at the Beach Club in Hamburg, a stylish wedding dinner at Schloss Langenzell or coffee and cake at Restaurant Dattler in Freiburg: we play all over Germany and have local musicians in Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Munich, Cologne, Freiburg and Basel. That way we can get to your celebration quickly and easily.
How much live music makes sense for a wedding? Line-up, playing times and budget
That depends above all on which moments of your day you would like to have music for. You can book us as your wedding band just for the ceremony and the champagne reception, or for dinner as well. We usually play two to three sets of 45 minutes and time the breaks to fit around speeches, photos and the meal.
For the ceremony or a small reception, a jazz duo is often all you need. If the music is to carry a larger wedding party through the afternoon, the jazz trio is the right choice, and with our singer it becomes a quartet for the really special moments.

Frequently asked questions about a jazz band for your wedding Ceremony, song requests, dancing & dates
Does the jazz band also play at the ceremony?
Yes. We regularly play at wedding ceremonies, whether at the registry office, in church or in the open air, and are happy to play live for the entrance too. We talk through which piece it should be with you in advance.
Can you play our favourite song?
With pleasure, even at fairly short notice. We are not a cover band: your song will sound a little different from the original, as a jazz version of its own, just for you.
Can you dance to a jazz band at a wedding?
At our performances guests often start dancing spontaneously, and we are happy to play live for the first dance. We are not a classic dance band, though. For non-stop dancing late in the evening we recommend a DJ or party band as well; we are glad to help you find one.
Do you play outdoors too?
Yes, very often: at the champagne reception, in the garden or on the terrace. Because we play acoustically, we need no electricity for it.
How early should we enquire about the jazz band for our wedding?
From June to August many dates are taken early, so it is best to enquire about a year in advance. Short-notice enquiries are still worthwhile – sometimes a date becomes free unexpectedly.
