2. Your rights
You have the right to access the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing based on our legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
For any request, simply email jazz@weichselsharks.de.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by name and address of the hosting provider. When you visit our pages, the server automatically stores technical information transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer URL, browser and operating system. This is necessary for the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after number days. We have a data processing agreement with the hosting provider.
4. Contact and booking form
If you contact us via the booking form, by email or by phone, we process your details (e.g. name, email address, phone number, date and location of the event, your message) to answer your enquiry and prepare an offer. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our interest in answering enquiries).
Form data is sent to us by email via email provider / SMTP server. We delete your data once it is no longer needed, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. for invoices) apply.
5. Google reCAPTCHA
To protect our booking form from spam, we use Google reCAPTCHA by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. reCAPTCHA uses various signals (e.g. IP address, mouse movements, time on page) to check whether an entry was made by a human. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (protection against abuse). More information: Google Privacy Policy.
6. Google Ads conversion tracking (only with consent)
We run ads on Google Ads. Only if you click “Accept” in the cookie notice do we load the Google tag (gtag.js) from Google Ireland Limited. It sets a cookie that lets us measure whether an enquiry, call or email came from one of our ads. We only see aggregated figures, not individuals. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA (EU-US Data Privacy Framework).
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG). Without consent, the Google tag is not loaded. You can change your decision at any time via (also at the bottom of every page).
We store your choice in your browser’s local storage (localStorage) so that the notice does not appear on every page. This storage is technically necessary for that purpose (Section 25(2) TDDDG).
7. Embedded content – only after your click
We do not load videos or social media posts from other providers automatically. Instead, you first see a placeholder. Only when you click it is a connection to the respective provider established, transmitting at least your IP address, the page visited and technical browser data; the provider may use cookies or similar technologies. The legal basis is your consent given by the click (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG). Consent applies only to that page view.
YouTube
We embed videos from YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. If you are logged in to Google, YouTube may link playback to your account. More information: Google Privacy Policy.
Instagram (via LightWidget)
We show recent posts from our Instagram account via the LightWidget service (check provider and address of LightWidget). Images are loaded from servers of LightWidget or Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland).
8. Fonts
All fonts on this website are hosted on our own server. No connection to Google Fonts or any other font provider is made when you visit our pages.
9. Links to other websites
Our pages contain links, for example to our Google Business Profile, Instagram or Facebook. Data is only transmitted to the respective provider once you click such a link; their privacy policy then applies.
10. Changes
We update this privacy policy when our website or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies.
